Thermoplastic polyurethane
The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is a latest generation plastic material, lighter and more resistant than the Butile and with a better air retention than latex. It is available in glossy and bright pirelli yellow to be easily recognizable. Thanks to TPU technology you can save up to 70% weight and up to 50% of space compared to a traditional air chamber.

Presta valve
The Smartube pirelli air chambers are equipped with a standard Presta valve with RVC mechanism with a glued nucleus with a length of 42 mm to be compatible with most of the circles. The valve is black to give your bike a cleaner and more elegant look.
