E-TUBE is the Shimano "service" that uses websites or apps to maximize the pleasure of cycling by connecting riders, bikes and Shimano.

HYPERGLIDE+
The backbone of this new group is the revolutionary HYPERGLIDE+ shift technology. First introduced on Shimano MTB groupsets, this unique chain-to-cassette interface smoothly guides the chain up and down the cassette for fast, precise shifting in both directions, even under extreme pedaling loads. So you no longer need to reduce the pressure on the pedals before shifting. HYPERGLIDE+, in fact, guarantees smooth and efficient gear changes, always.

HOLLOWGLIDE
The high-rigidity hollow structure reduces weight while maintaining rigidity. More efficient power transfer and more immediate and precise chainring change.

HOLLOWTECH II
HOLLOWTECH II technology is aimed at producing a superior crankset, capable of maximizing power transfer. The rigidity of the crankset guarantees Lefficiency in pedaling, while lightness, a key element of the crankset, facilitates the cyclist on long distances, where it is necessary to pedal more. The HOLLOWTECH technology, which consists of an ultra-light hollow crank that maintains the rigidity unchanged, was developed by SHIMANO with Lthe use of its exclusive forging technologies. LThe addition of HOLLOWTECH II technology integrates Lthe bottom bracket axis with the right crank, ensuring greater rigidity, weight reduction and high dimensional stability. The bottom bracket's axial bearing system ensures better weight distribution, which translates into more efficient power transfer. The HOLLOWTECH II crankset was developed pursuing an optimal balance between stiffness and rolling performance, and thus an ultra-light and very elegant design was achieved.
