Keeping the winning concept of previous versions, Shimano took a further step forward: the larger pulleys, the most efficient design and the advanced protection.
With L'arrival of 12 -speed broadcasts L'efficiency represents an increasingly emerging feature. This is why Shimano has decided to review some components and add further details. Thus, the replacement of the pulleys, which are now larger (13 teeth), significantly improves chain management, gear change of gears and efficiency on the new 12 -speed pigno parcels. The pulleys do not present the Narrow Wide profile despite this the functionality has improved thanks to the slightly curved design of the cage itself, which allows you to manage the longest chain with the relatively compact cage.
The icing on the cake is the new lower Bumper, mounted outside the cage to avoid the damage to the structure when the chain is on the smallest cars, or when the land reserve surprises.
